For years before entering politics, Donald worked as an electrician. He installed power lines in refineries and on the tops of bridges until he eventually worked his way up to become the President of the Southern New Jersey AFL-CIO. Donald brought this experience advocating for thousands of hardworking people to Congress with him, and he now represents New Jersey’s 1st Congressional District. He supports increased voter participation and opposes the misguided Citizens United Supreme Court decision. He is cosponsoring the 2017 DISCLOSE Act, which serves to increase transparency in election spending. Ever since his time as an electrician Donald has worked for his fellow Americans, and he is a leader in the fight against corporate influence in politics.
