Jackie has lived in Nevada for nearly forty years. In between her years at college she waited tables in Las Vegas and was a member of the local culinary workers union. After graduating, Jacky worked as a computer programmer for a number of major Nevada companies and was also a leader in her community as the President of her synagogue. In 2016, she decided to dedicate her life to public service and was elected as the U.S. Representative for Nevada’s 3rd congressional district. She quickly established herself as a leader of the fight for campaign finance reform, cosponsoring the 2017 DISCLOSE Act which seeks to increase transparency in election spending. Jacky is running to become the next U.S. Senator from Nevada, against an incumbent who bases each of his votes on the money he’s collected from his mega-donors.
