Joe Kopser is a 20-year combat veteran and a small business owner. After two tours of duty in Iraq, Kopser started a tech company that has created jobs in his home state of Texas, which won him the Department of Transportation’s Data & Innovation Award in 2013. He was also named a White House Champion of Change by President Obama the following year.
Kopser is troubled by the fact that big corporations are hitting record profits, while many Texas families struggle to get by. That’s why he’s committed to stopping the dangerous threat posed by unlimited and undisclosed money in elections. He’s running to serve those Texas families, not special interests.
