Joe Morelle has lived in the same Irondequoit neighborhood in Upstate New York for most of his life. Growing up as the son of a Korean War veteran in a family that valued hard work and integrity encouraged him to pursue a career in public service. Joe has worked on Monroe County Legislature and spent 28 years in the New York State Assembly.
Morelle believes we need real leaders in Congress who are going to stand up and fight for the hardworking families in his community. He wants to ensure that upstate New York values have a strong, unrelenting voice in Washington. That’s why he’s dedicated to meaningful campaign finance reform — so that our democracy listens to the needs of the hard-working families in NY-25. Morelle is running because he’s committed to making his community and constituents his top priority — not Big Money.
