Liz Watson was raised in Indiana among a family of fifth generation Hoosiers. A product of Bloomington public schools, Liz has spent her career working to create communities where everyone has a voice. She has spent time working for the National Women’s Law Center, as the executive director of the Georgetown Poverty Center, and as the Labor Policy Director for Democrats in the United States Congress. In each position, Liz has discovered ways to create an America that works for every American, regardless of their bank account.
It’s time to have a Representative that’s invested in Indiana and not occupied by mega-donors and special interests. For Liz, every vote she will take in Congress will be decided by one simple test: Will it make Hoosiers’ lives better?
