Candidate for New York's 25th Congressional District

Louise represents New York’s 25th district. Louise is the first woman to represent Western New York was also the first woman to be the chair of the House Committee on Rules. A believer in strong ethics standards for public officials, Louise passed the STOCK Act to prevent insider trading by Congress members and their staff and introduced the Supreme Court Ethics Act which would have created an ethics code for the Supreme Court. She is a public opponent of the Citizens United decision and believes corporations should not have the power to spend unlimited money in elections.
