Committee to Restore America’s Greatness

The Committee to Restore America’s Greatness is a pro-Donald Trump Super PAC started by longtime Trump associate Roger Stone. During the primary, the group focused on collecting voter fraud complaints in an attempt to invalidate or otherwise discredit Trump’s main opponent, Sen. Ted Cruz.[1] Stone, who proudly calls himself a “dirty trickster”, has previously written books regurgitating conspiracy theories about the Clinton and Bush families.[2]

Stone initially told donors to contribute $1,000 or less, but later accepted $249,000 from businessman and Philadelphia Phillies co-owner John Middleton.[3][4] As of March 31, the group had raised $334,874 and had $133,393 on hand.[5]
