A poll of Nevada voters conducted for End Citizens United by Clarity Campaign Labs shows Catherine Cortez Masto with a three-point lead over Joe Heck in the race for U.S. Senate.
Cortez Masto leads with 44 percent, Heck holds 41 percent, and other or none receives a combined eight percent, with leaners included.
In the presidential race Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are tied at 43 percent each, with 6 percent for other candidates.
This survey was conducted following the release of a tape of Trump using vulgar language and bragging about committing sexual assault.
Cortez Masto has consolidated Democrats better than Heck has consolidated Republicans. Heck holds 79% of the Republican vote, while Cortez Masto has 86% of the Democratic vote.
The survey, which was conducted from October 10-11, included 1,010 likely voters, with a margin of error of 3 percent. The survey was conducted by IVR to landlines and live calls to cell phones.
Results of the poll can be found here.
