Chris Pappas is a restaurant owner and Executive Councilor for New Hampshire’s 4th District. After graduating from Harvard College in 2002, Chris returned to New Hampshire to help run his family’s business, the Puritan Backroom Restaurant. Shortly after, he began his career in public service, serving for two terms as a State Representative and subsequently as the Treasurer of Hillsborough County. Since 2013, Chris has represented District 4 on the New Hampshire Executive Council where he has led the fight to expand Medicaid to 50,000 Granite State working families, bringing $2.5 billion in new federal funds into the state’s economy.
Chris knows that corporate special interests dictate the conversation in Washington. By rejecting corporate PAC money, Chris is proving to voters he will fight for their interests — not corporate special interests.
