Cindy Axne is a small business owner, community activist, and a fifth-generation Iowan. From 2005 to 2014, she worked for the state of Iowa, helping over twenty state agencies deliver government services more effectively and efficiently for taxpayers. Since then she has focused on growing the digital design firm she runs with her husband. Cindy is an active member in her church and serves as a mentor with the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center at the University of Iowa.
Cindy is dedicated to curbing the influence of special interest money in politics. She understands that representatives should serve their constituents, not special interests, which is why she’s rejecting corporate PAC money in her campaign.
