Danny Heck serves Washington State’s 10th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Congressman Heck represents his constituents on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, The Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit Subcommittee, and The Monetary Policy and Trade Subcommittee. One of those small businesses, which specializes in workplace education, was started in Olympia with only two employees. Today it employs more than 300 people throughout the United States and has continued to grow. Congressman Heck served his community in the Washington State House for nearly a decade and was chosen by his colleagues to serve as Majority Leader before retiring in 1986.
Congressman Heck is a champion of campaign finance reform and is dedicated to changing the political landscape and restoring transparency to campaigning. He understands how disastrous the Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision has been for our democracy, which is why he’s committed to passing meaningful campaign finance reform.
