Haley Stevens was born and raised in Oakland County. She has spent her career in workforce development, creating jobs and bringing economic opportunity to communities throughout the Midwest. Stevens served as chief of staff on the Auto Rescue, an Obama Administration initiative which helped return the auto industry to financial stability and saved over 200,000 jobs in Michigan. Most recently she led a job training program and created the country’s first online certification program for digital manufacturing.
Stevens has long fought to create opportunity for working class Americans. She understands that Big Money in politics shuts everyday people out of the political process. That’s why she’s committed to fighting for meaningful campaign finance reform.
