“These corporations, what they’ve done in uniting in this call is a really important moment and we shouldn’t discount that because what we need right now is for everyone to be raising their voice and speaking out against the voter suppression that we’re seeing across the country. But at End Citizens United Let America Vote we actually think they need to go even further. It’s not enough to just say that they don’t support voter suppression bills, they need to speak out about the actual bills that are in the states. They should proactively come out for things like For the People Act, which is moving through the Senate, so that we can actually protect the freedom to vote. And they need to stop funding legislators, both at the state and federal level who are trying to suppress the right to vote.”
