End Citizens United PAC has reserved more than $200,000 in airtime backing Democrat Emily Cain in Maine, the first in a series of expected reservations backing Democratic House candidates who support campaign finance reform.
The ads will run on broadcast and cable TV in Portland and Bangor between Aug. 23 and Aug. 29.
End Citizens United PAC has raised $14.7 million since it was formed last year, with $5.6 million in cash on hand as ofJune 30. The PAC has already reserved $1.5 million in airtime to support Maggie Hassan’s Senate campaign in New Hampshire and $1.4 million in airtime to back Catherine Cortez Masto in Nevada, with those ads expected to hit the air next week. But the Cain reservation is the PAC’s first on the House side.
