(Fox 10 News – Phoenix, AZ) – Small businesses in Arizona have signed an open letter to senator Kirsten Sinema, urging her to pass the For the People Act. It’s intended to expand voting rights. get big money out of politics and end partisan gerrymandering. Legislation stalled last month in the Senate, it failed to get at least 60 votes needed to begin debate due to the Republican Filibuster. Speaking today in Phoenix, those in support of the legislation say voters’ rights must be protected.
