(The Messenger) The grassroots organizations End Citizens United and Let America Vote have endorsed President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for reelection in 2024.
“Our democracy is facing a clear and present danger — one that demands our collective attention and commitment to action,” ECU and LAV President Tiffany Muller said in a statement. “The rise of Republican election denialism, dark money groups, and corruption threaten the very foundation of our nation. President Biden and Vice President Harris share these concerns and have consistently championed reforms to address these critical issues.”
Muller cited the administration’s commitment to “democratic values” and said End Citizens United and Let America Vote would do “everything we can” to help the pair win in 2024.
End Citizens United champions reducing the power of outside money in politics and elections, while Let America Vote battles against voter suppression. The two groups also endorsed Biden and Harris in 2020.
