(The Messenger) “The stunning allegations in the indictment show that Senator Menendez has used public office for his own enrichment, shattering the trust of New Jerseyans,” said Tiffany Muller, president of End Citizens United and Let America Vote, a Democratic-backed campaign and elections reform activist group.
“There’s no place for corruption in our politics and no one is above the law. He must resign immediately,” she added in a statement.
