(National Journal) – Tiffany Muller, the president of End Citizens United and Let America Vote Action Fund, said Monday that staff are on the ground in 12 different states and have organized 100,000 phone calls to key Senate offices. Muller said they’ve also conducted door-to-door canvassing, stressing that they’re doing so “in a safe, effective manner” during the pandemic. The group also expects to spend another $10 to $12 million on advertising in favor of the bill. It has already spent about $10 million so far, including a national cable buy; TV and digital commercials running in Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, New Hampshire, and West Virginia; and digital spots in Alaska, Delaware, Maine, Montana, and Pennsylvania. “The American people will continue to let senators know, both on the Republican and Democratic sides of the aisle, that this bill is a must-pass, that we absolutely have to get this done,” Muller said.
