End Citizens United President Tiffany Muller released the following statement ahead of tonight’s debate in the U.S. Senate race in Pennsylvania:
“The contrast we’ll see in tonight’s debate couldn’t be more stark: while Senator Bob Casey is taking on corporate special interests, Connecticut hedge funder David McCormick is only looking out for himself, his billionaire donors, and their extreme Project 2025 agenda.
“Flying back to Pennsylvania and putting on a barn coat to campaign for Senate doesn’t change McCormick’s hedge fund record of taking Pennsylvanians’ hard-earned pension funds and investing them in the Chinese military and fentanyl producers, or saying Roe v. Wade being overturned would make him ‘very, very happy.’ Simply put, McCormick cannot be trusted to put Pennsylvanians first.
“Thankfully, Senator Casey has the track record to prove that he always has and always will fight for hard-working Pennsylvanians, including taking on the greedy corporations who are raking in record profits while jacking up costs. We’re proud to stand with him in this fight and look forward to helping reelect him this November.”
