Jason Crow, candidate for Colorado’s 6th Congressional District, released his first TV ad today spotlighting the need for a new generation of leaders in Congress and his decision to reject corporate PAC money.
“When you see injustice, you have to lead by example, so I have taken a pledge that I’m not going to take a dime of corporate PAC money.” – Jason Crow
Leading by example, Crow unveiled a comprehensive reform agenda in February to bring accountability and transparency to Washington, and end the corrupting influence of Big Money in politics. In addition to the legislative reforms, Crow challenged his opponent, Congressman Mike Coffman, to keep all secret, undisclosed money out of his campaign. Coffman, a member of ECU’s Big Money 20, has taken over $1.7 million from corporate PACs.
A PPP poll commissioned by End Citizens United (ECU) in February showed Jason Crow leading Mike Coffman by five points, 44 to 39 percent.
ECU endorsed Crow last September because of his commitment to unrigging the system and enacting meaningful reforms.
