Senator Rand Paul named the whistleblower in Trump’s impeachment on the Senate floor.
Yeah… you’re not supposed to do that.
By reporting government officials’ potential violation of the law, whistleblowers are integral to a strong democracy and are supposed to be protected at all costs. But Rand Paul disregarded precedent and gave Trump the green light to attack the whistleblower by name.
Don’t be like Rand Paul. Protect democracy.
