Congressman Matt Gaetz took the stage tonight at the Republican National Convention, three days after the House Ethics Committee formally admonished him for threatening Donald Trump’s ex-lawyer Michael Cohen over Twitter.
All we have to say is, sounds about right!
Gaetz has also been investigated by the House Ethics Committee for other potential violations, including spending tens of thousands of dollars of taxpayer dollars on a speech-writing consultant and may be in violation of gift rules for having a private company build a television studio in his father’s house.
