Flashback to 2018, when Donald Trump gave his VP his first big job: to head up an ‘election integrity commission.’
Along with Kris Kobach, a Republican Kansas politician who just lost his second statewide bid in a row, Mike Pence’s taxpayer-funded task force couldn’t find a shred of evidence for widespread voter fraud in the U.S. This phony commission searched far and wide for tactical evidence of the issue Kobach, Pence and Trump himself had been talking about on the campaign trail.
Alas, there was none. Pence used racist claims, with government money, to investigate a nearly nonexistent issue.
That doesn’t sound like “integrity” to us.
