Jackie knows that in order to make progress on critical issues impacting Long Islanders, like access to quality healthcare, we need to end the corrupting influence of corporate money in our politics. By rejecting corporate PAC contributions, Jackie is showing that she’ll fight on behalf of Long Islanders over corporate special interests in Washington. We look forward to helping her win in November.”
ECU and LAV endorsed Jackie Gordon in November 2019 because of her commitment to rooting out corruption in Washington. The reform group has four million members nationwide, including 5,700 in NY-02, and is entirely grassroots-funded with an average donation of just $14.
