During her time in Congress, she has worked tirelessly to root out corruption in Washington–from passing legislation to protect the voices of Virginia voters, to leading the effort to ban members of Congress from trading stocks. We know that Congresswoman Spanberger will continue that fight in her next term, and we look forward to working alongside her.”
ECU endorsed Congresswoman Spanberger in 2021 because of her commitment to protect our freedom to vote, root out corruption in Congress, end the flow of dark money, and ensure everyone has a right to vote. Congresswoman Spanberger received an A+ on ECU’s Anti-Corruption and Voting Rights Scorecard. This September, ECU filed a complaint against Spanberger’s opponent, so Virginia voters had the full truth before Election Day. ECU also spent $300,000 on a TV ad campaign to boost Spanberger’s campaign.
