End Citizens United // Let America Vote President Tiffany Muller released the following statement on Congressman Andy Kim winning NJ-03:
“Congratulations to Congressman Andy Kim on his well-deserved re-election victory. Congressman Kim has worked tirelessly to root out corruption, protect the freedom to vote, and end dark money. He’s become a leader among leaders in the fight to make government more accountable to the people. He proved once again that a winning campaign is one that is not beholden to corporate special interests and instead focuses on serving the people he represents. We look forward to what he will accomplish in his next term.”
ECU endorsed Congressman Kim in 2021 because of his commitment to refusing corporate PAC money, protecting voting rights, and working to pass anti-corruption legislation. ECU President Tiffany Muller joined Congressman Kim in New Jersey to share with students the implications of Citizens United and encourage them to join efforts to protect the freedom to vote and fight for anti-corruption reforms. ECU had a total impact of over $68,000 for Congressman Kim.
