“Congratulations to Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin on her well-deserved win. Congresswoman Slotkin has shown time and again that she is dedicated to rooting out corruption and protecting the freedom to vote, and we are excited to see her continue this important work.”
ECU endorsed Elissa Slotkin in 2021 because she stands up to corporate special interests and refuses to accept their PAC money. Slotkin received an “A” on ECU’s anti-corruption and voting rights legislative scorecard earlier this year because of her commitment to keeping dark money out of Washington and protecting the freedom to vote. In October 2022, ECU ran a $400,000 radio ad campaign spotlighting how Slotkin has worked to take on Big Pharma. ECU also filed a complaint with the FEC against Slotkin’s opponent Tom Barrett to ensure full transparency throughout the race. In total, ECU had an impact of over $446,000 for Congresswoman Slotkin’s re-election.
ECU // LAV Action Fund also amplified Congresswoman Slotkin’s work on championing the For the People Act with television and digital ads in Michigan.
