“Congratulations to Governor Gretchen Whitmer on her well-deserved re-election victory. Governor Whitmer has been a fierce defender of Michigan’s democracy and Michigan families. Despite the partisan efforts to subvert Michigan elections, Governor Whitmer stood strong and protected our democracy.”
ECU endorsed Governor Gretchen Whitmer in 2022 because of her commitment to uplifting and protecting the democratic process as well as standing up to special interests. As part of ECU’s Sprint to Save Democracy Tour President Tiffany Muller joined Governor Whitmer during an event in Michigan and spoke at a cookout with Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist II.
