“Congratulations to Senator-Elect John Fetterman on his big win. Fetterman proved to Pennsylvania voters that they can trust him to put their interests first. He underscored that commitment by refusing to take a single penny from corporate PACs. Today’s results are an important win for democracy and for hard-working Pennsylvanians who will have one of their own in the Senate.”
ECU endorsed Fetterman in 2021 because of his commitment to ensuring free and fair elections, taking on corruption, and fighting for working families. He supports passing the DISCLOSE act, which would expose the billionaires and corporations trying to buy our elections and policy decisions. ECU spent $2 million on a TV ad in Pennsylvania hitting his opponent, Mehmet Oz, over his ties to special interests and Oz’s home state of New Jersey. In total, ECU had an impact of over $2.13 million for Senator-Elect Fetterman.
