In March 2022, Benson and ECU President Tiffany Muller held a press call to outline the stakes of the SOS race and the danger that extremist conspiracy theorist candidates pose to our democracy. President Tiffany Muller joined Benson again just days before the election to fire up voters in Michigan. ECU along with Safe Accessible Fair Elections (SAFE) ran a 7 figure ad buy in support of Benson’s campaign. Additionally, ECU raised and contributed over $80,000 in support of Secretary Benson’s re-election.
