“Congratulations to Senator Mark Kelly on his well-deserved re-election. Senator Kelly has gone above and beyond in making sure he’s accountable only to Arizona families. He’s never taken a dime of corporate PAC money, he publishes his schedule, and he put his assets in a qualified blind trust to prove to voters that his candidacy is about them, not himself. If every member of Congress followed the Kelly Standard, we would have a government that is truly of, by, and for the people.”
ECU endorsed Senator Kelly in 2021 because of his dedication to ending dark money and protecting the freedom to vote. In September, ECU and Senator Klobuchar joined Kelly in Arizona as part of the “Vote for Democracy Tour” to host a meet and greet and rally voters in Arizona. ECU President Tiffany Muller also participated in a town hall on reform issues with Senator Kelly to discuss how he is taking on corruption in Washington. ECU had a total impact of over $230,000 for Senator Kelly this cycle.
ECU // LAV Action Fund also thanked Senator Kelly and amplified his work on championing the Freedom to Vote Act with over $5.2 million in television and digital ads in Arizona.
