End Citizens United (ECU) President Tiffany Muller released the following statement on the House of Representatives voting to officially launch an impeachment inquiry into President Biden:
“House Republicans should be ashamed of themselves for pursuing this unjustified impeachment inquiry. After two months of historic chaos and dysfunction, they’ve devoted their time and energy to this baseless inquiry instead of doing real work on behalf of the American people.
“This vote is further proof that there is no longer such a thing as a moderate Republican in the House. By shamelessly prioritizing the corrupt, indicted, and twice-impeached Donald Trump’s political vendetta against President Biden, they’ve all shown their true colors as the MAGA extremists that they are.”
