End Citizens United Action Fund and Let America Vote President Tiffany Muller released the following statement praising Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats for their Take Responsibility for Workers and Families Act, a third relief bill in response to COVID-19 that focuses on American families and workers, and protecting our democracy:

The Take Responsibility for Workers and Families Act puts the focus on providing vital resources to fight the disease, critical assistance to workers, and four billion dollars in funding to ensure the safety of our elections so every American’s voice and vote can be heard. End Citizens United thanks Speaker Pelosi who––with the support of Leader Hoyer, Majority Whip Clyburn, Chairperson Lowey, Chairperson Lofgren, and Democracy Task Force Chair John Sarbanes––have crafted a bill that is committed to the well-being of workers, families, and our elections. Senate Republicans must put their corporate loyalties aside and do the right thing by passing this bill.”
