End Citizens United and Let America Vote Announce New Staff Hires for 2022 Cycle

End Citizens United (ECU) and Let America Vote (LAV) announced new staff hires for the 2022 cycle:

Tina Olechowski will serve as Communications Director. Most recently, Tina served as the Regional Political Director for the House Majority PAC and as a Senior National Communications Advisor for the Amy McGrath for Senate campaign. She has extensive and wide-ranging campaign experience serving in communications, paid media and research roles including serving as the Research Director and Communications Advisor for Governor Steve Bullock’s successful re-election campaign in 2016, developing paid media strategies for competitive senate, gubernatorial, congressional and state Supreme Court races across the country as a Senior Media Associate at A|L Media, and working in opposition research at the DCCC.

Ebonee Dawson will serve as Political Director. Most recently, Ebonee served as Political Director for the Cal Cunningham for North Carolina Senate campaign. She began her career in electoral politics as an organizer and has worked for political campaigns on all levels from municipal races to high-profile statewide campaigns. Ebonee has dedicated her career to working with progressive allies, labor unions, and community activists to develop strategic and successful campaigns.

Jessica Church will serve as Director of State and Local Campaigns. Most recently, Jessica served as the Deputy Political Director for federal campaigns at ECU/LAV. Her past work experience also includes the National Women’s Law Center, Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, and the South Carolina Democratic Party.

Brian Wietgrefe will serve as Deputy Research Director. Before Joining ECU/LAV, Brian worked as a consultant, as Senator Tina Smith’s Research Director, and as a regional Research Director for the DCCC. Brian has worked on local, state, issue, federal, and presidential campaigns, working in every state in the country.

Mai-Thy Tyler will serve as Deputy Director of State and Local Campaigns. Most recently, Mai-Thy worked in Arizona on Mark Kelly’s successful U.S. Senate campaign as Deputy National Finance Director. During the 2018 cycle, she worked in Wisconsin to re-elect U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin.

Chanelle Kacy-Dunlap will serve as Social Media Manager. Chanelle previously served as the Assistant Digital Manager at Population Services International (PSI). Prior to PSI, she worked as a Communications Associate at Jesuit Refugee Services and was a media intern at the Union of Concerned Scientists.

Lauren Karpinski has been promoted to Political Coordinator. She started ECU last February and worked on the political team for the 2020 cycle. Prior to coming to ECU/LAV, Lauren was an organizer on various environmental campaigns in California, Arkansas, and Minnesota. In 2019, she was the Deputy Director for Planned Parenthood Virginia PAC’s Richmond canvass operation that helped flip the state legislature blue.

Lindsay Gassman will serve as Executive Assistant. Lindsay spent the 2020 cycle developing and executing the voter engagement strategy for Washington University in St. Louis. Prior to that, she was a field intern with the Missouri Democratic Party’s Coordinated Campaign during the 2018 cycle.

Rahul Ramesh will serve as Action Fund Assistant. Rahul is a recent graduate of the University of California, Berkeley with majors in Economics and Rhetoric. He has interned on political campaigns on all levels, most recently on John Hickenlooper’s senate bid in Colorado. Prior to the Hickenlooper campaign, he was an intern for Hillary for America and for Colorado State Rep. Dominick Moreno.
