End Citizens United (ECU) and Let America Vote (LAV) President Tiffany Muller released the following statement congratulating Al Gross on advancing to the general election in Alaska’s Senate race:
“Congratulations to Dr. Al Gross on his primary victory. A physician and lifelong Alaskan, Al is the independent leader Alaskans deserve in the Senate. By refusing corporate PAC and federal lobbyist money, Al is proving that he’ll be a champion for Alaska families like his own, not wealthy donors or corporate special interests. Unlike Senator Dan Sullivan, who has taken over $1.3 million in corporate PAC donations over the course of his career, Al will fight to root out corruption and restore our democracy in Washington. We’re proud to stand with Al Gross heading into November.”
ECU and LAV endorsed Al Gross in January 2020 because of his commitment to rooting out corruption in Washington. The reform group has four million members nationwide, including 7,500 in Alaska, and is entirely grassroots-funded with an average donation of just $14.
