Delgado rejects corporate PAC money and led the charge to pass the For the People Act, a once-in-a-generation reform bill
End Citizens United (ECU) and Let America Vote (LAV) President Tiffany Muller released the following statement congratulating Antonio Delgado on winning the General Election for New York’s Nineteenth Congressional District:
“Congratulations to Congressman Antonio Delgado on his reelection to Congress. Antonio is part of a new generation of leaders who are rejecting corporate PAC money and taking on the corrupt Big Money that pollutes our politics. We look forward to working with Antonio to pass bold anti-corruption and voting rights reforms that will make our government work for the people instead of corporate special interests.”
ECU and LAV endorsed Antonio Delgado in March 2019 because of his commitment to getting Big Money out of politics and fixing the rigged system in Washington so the government works for all Americans. ECU raised and donated over $39,500 in small dollar grassroots contributions from its members this cycle to Delgado’s campaign. The reform group has four million members nationwide, including over 14,400 in NY-19, and is entirely grassroots-funded with an average donation of just $14.
