End Citizens United (ECU) and Let America Vote (LAV) President Tiffany Muller released the following statement congratulating Kristy Gnibus on winning the Democratic primary in PA-16:
“Congratulations to Kristy Gnibus. By rejecting corporate PAC donations, Kristy is proving that she’ll be accountable to Pennsylvania families in Washington, not corporate interests. She’s committed to fighting against the disastrous Citizens United decision and passing critical anti-corruption and reform legislation. Meanwhile, Mike Kelly has taken three million dollars from corporate PACs over the course of his career. We’re proud to stand with her heading into November.”
ECU and LAV endorsed Kristy Gnibus in January 2020 because of her commitment to anti-corruption reform. The reform group has four million members nationwide, including 5,200 in Pennsylvania’s Sixteenth Congressional District, and is entirely grassroots-funded with an average donation of just $14.
