End Citizens United (ECU) and Let America Vote (LAV) President Tiffany Muller released the following statement endorsing Yes for Fair and Honest Elections’ campaign to pass The Oregon Fair and Honest Elections Measure (Ballot Measure 107), which is supported by grassroots advocates and has bipartisan support in Oregon:
“The outsized influence of money in politics is corrupting election outcomes in state-level races across the country, including in Oregon,” said ECU and LAV President Tiffany Muller. “Without comprehensive reform, politicians will continue to answer to corporate special interests instead of the people they’re supposed to serve. By allowing vital reforms like campaign contribution limits and strong transparency requirements, Ballot Measure 107 will root out corruption and make government more accountable to the people. We’re proud to support Yes for Fair and Honest Elections’ efforts to pass this critical initiative in Oregon.”
Fight for Reform, the state level affiliate of ECU and LAV, focuses on defeating the influence of big money and defending the right to vote in states and localities around the country. FFR will connect supporters and volunteers with Measure 107.
