End Citizens United (ECU) and Let America Vote (LAV) announced it raised over $1.5 million from over 34,000 grassroots donors directly for Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff’s campaigns in the Georgia Senate runoffs. Over the course of the 2020 election cycle, ECU and LAV have raised over $1.7 million for Ossoff and Warnock with an average donation of $15.
Coinciding with the announcement, ECU and LAV are launching a $600,000 broadcast TV, digital and direct mail ad campaign to remind voters that Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler, who have both been embroiled in multiple insider trading scandals during the coronavirus outbreak, are more worried about their own bank accounts than about Georgia families.

“This fundraising haul is a testament to the grassroots energy and enthusiasm for Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff’s commitment to reforming the broken system in Washington embodied by Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue,” said ECU and LAV President Tiffany Muller. “Loeffler and Perdue’s insider trading scandals demonstrate a complete disregard for the public’s trust, and Georgians are fed up with their corrupt schemes to enrich themselves. ECU and LAV’s grassroots members are fired up to flip the Senate and elect leaders like Ossoff and Warnock who will clean up Washington corruption.”
The ad campaign will target moderate and left leaning voters in the Albany, Georgia media market. The television ad runs from December 15 – December 28. The digital ad runs from December 16 – January 5. The mail begins this week.
ECU and LAV have also recently begun a phone bank campaign in support of Warnock and Ossoff and have already run more than 250 shifts and made more than 25,000 calls.
