ECU, which has filed several complaints over Santos’ fraudulent activity, renews on GOP Members of Congress and candidates to donate his tainted contributions
End Citizens United (ECU) President Tiffany Muller released the following statement calling for the Republicans holding onto contributions from disgraced Representative George Santos’ money to donate the funds:
“George Santos is clearly corrupt and anyone who holds onto his tainted money is endorsing his fraud. It’s frankly shameful that so many Republicans are still refusing to donate his contributions.”
End Citizens United has been a leader in holding Santos accountable for his corruption. The organization has filed several complaints with the Federal Election Commission, the Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE), and the Department of Justice, providing evidence of Santos’ illegal activity. Earlier this year, ECU launched a campaign putting pressure on GOP representatives to donate the tainted money they took from Santos.
