End Citizens United (ECU) President Tiffany Muller issued the following statement congratulating Senator-elect Angela Alsobrooks on being elected to the United States Senate in Maryland:
“Congratulations to Senator-elect Alsobrooks on her historic victory. She’s a powerful advocate for working families who ran an impressive campaign centered around protecting our rights, our freedoms, and our democracy. We’re excited to see Senator-elect Alsobrooks’ leadership in the Senate, and we’ll be by her side as she fights to put Washington back on the side of working people.”
ECU endorsed Alsobrooks in the Democratic primary and did several events with her campaign to highlight the stakes of the election and turn out voters.
