WASHINGTON – End Citizens United PAC today officially endorsed Catherine Cortez Masto and Conner Eldridge for the United States Senate.

End Citizens United is a grassroots-funded organization that is dedicated to electing members of Congress who will fight to overturn Citizens United and advocate for campaign finance reform to remove “dark money” from our political system.

“Both Catherine Cortez Masto and Conner Eldridge know we need to end the rigged system in Washington by limiting the amount of money that corporations can spend anonymously to buy our elections,” said Tiffany Muller, Executive Director for End Citizens United.  “We’re proud to support these two candidates, and we know that in both races they are the best candidate to rein in the unlimited dark money that is corrupting our democracy.”

“I am grateful to have the support of End Citizens United, an organization that is dedicated to preserving the democratic process,” said Catherine Cortez Masto. “We cannot allow unlimited dark money from a handful of individuals and corporations to continue corrupting our political system and democracy. I look forward to working with them as U.S. Senator to ensure that the voices of all Nevadans and Americans are heard, regardless of economic background or status.”

“There is too much dark money in politics, which is at the root of why the system is broken and why Americans are so frustrated with government today,” said Conner Eldridge. “I fully support complete campaign finance reform and will aggressively work to get dark money out of politics, bring more transparency to the political process, and return power to the people. Time and again, my opponent has voted to protect dark, special interest money and defended Citizens United. Arkansans deserve better than a Senator who supports this institutionalized corruption.  As a Senator, I will work tirelessly to overturn the current system and restore openness and integrity to our government.”
