Let America Vote and End Citizens United Action Fund President Tiffany Muller released the following statement on the passage in the U.S. House today of H.Res.1154, which condemns QAnon and its conspiracy theories that pose a domestic terrorism threat to our country:
“QAnon is a domestic terrorist group that works to further erode our democratic institutions and sow hatred. We’re grateful to Congressman Tom Malinowksi for his leadership on introducing H.Res.1154, which officially condemns QAnon and rejects the conspiracy theories it promotes. Throughout his time in Congress, Malinowski has continued to demonstrate a commitment to put New Jersey families first and is a proven fighter for democratic reform. We urge all members of Congress to defend our democracy by supporting this reform-focused bill that protects all Americans from the prejudice, violence, and acts of terrorism this group promotes.”
