End Citizens United Launches Six Figure Ad Campaign Blasting Corrupt Career Politician Molinaro in NY-19

Oct 24, 2024

Ad campaign will run on streaming TV, digital ads, and in texts to key persuadable voters, knocking Molinaro for taking money from corporate special interests like Big Pharma and then voting to oppose capping prescription drug prices

End Citizens United (ECU) today launched a six figure ad campaign blasting corrupt career politician Rep. Marc Molinaro in New York’s 19th Congressional District. Rep. Molinaro, who has been in elected office for over thirty years, has received $500,000 from corporations and their political action committees and opposed the law to cap prescription drug costs and holding drug companies accountable for price gouging.

“The record is clear: Marc Molinaro is a corrupt career politician who’s sold out New Yorkers,” said End Citizens United President Tiffany Muller. “We’re going to make sure voters know that Molinaro took hundreds of thousands of dollars from corporate special interests and then turned around and opposed efforts to cap prescription drug costs and hold Big Pharma accountable.”

ECU’s ad campaign will run from October 24 – November 5, targeting key persuadable voters throughout the district on streaming TV, digital ads, and through SMS texting. Earlier this year, ECU named Rep. Molinaro to its inaugural “Most Corrupt” politicians list, citing his record of unabashed corruption and hypocrisy.

Thirty. Years.

That’s how long Marc Molinaro’s been a career politician.

A career Molinaro’s spent taking hundreds of thousands from corporate special interests.

Including the big pharmaceutical industry.

They like thirty-year career politicians.

No wonder Marc Molinaro opposed the law capping prescription drug prices.

And opposed holding big drug companies accountable for their price gouging.

Thirty years in politics.

Plus hundreds of thousands in corporate money.

Equals a Marc Molinaro who’s sold the rest of us out.
