“President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris will be sworn in on January 20. The American people rendered their verdict loudly and clearly, even in the face of Republican voter suppression efforts.
“Americans waited in hours-long lines in Atlanta, turned out despite onerous voter ID laws in Milwaukee, and mailed their ballots from communities across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
“Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy, and the entire Republican Party are permanently tainted by these malicious and seditious efforts to steal this election and effectively end American Democracy. They will have to answer for this and the violent riot their actions have caused when they face voters who hold the true power in our democracy.
“Once this shameful episode is over, we look forward to working with a united pro-democracy government to pass comprehensive reforms to fight corruption and end Republican voter suppression once and for all.”
