“Congratulations to Congressman Jared Golden on advancing to the general election. Throughout his time in Congress, he’s stood up for the people of Maine, voting to lower healthcare costs, protecting Medicare and Social Security, and fighting for Maine jobs. He’s never taken a single dime from corporate PACs–and never will–so that Mainers know he’s in Washington working for them, not wealthy special interests.
“Just as he did in 2018, Golden will be facing off against Bruce Poliquin, who took over $1.3 million from corporate PACs while in office, including over half a million dollars from Wall Street and big banks. His wealthy corporate backers got a great return on their investment when he voted to give them a $2 trillion tax cut.
“We look forward to getting the word out about Congressman Golden’s remarkable record, and helping reelect him so that he can continue the incredible work he has started.”
