End Citizens United // Let America Vote President Tiffany Muller released the following statement congratulating Congresswoman Susan Wild on winning the Democratic primary in PA-07:
“Congratulations to Congresswoman Susan Wild on her victory. Since first being elected to Congress in 2018, Wild has walked the walk on fighting Washington corruption. She authored the Lobbyist Loophole Closure Act, which would increase transparency and prevent self-serving politicians and lobbyists from cashing in on their positions of power. She’s been outspoken about the flood of dark money that has corrupted our elections, and helped pass the DISCLOSE Act through the House, which would end dark money, so billionaires and wealthy corporations can no longer buy elections. Wild also rejects corporate PAC money, so Pennsylvania families know that she is working on their behalf, not for any wealthy special interests. That’s why she’s worked so hard in Congress to stand up to Big Pharma and lower the cost of live-saving prescription drugs.
“We are excited about her victory tonight and look forward to re-electing her this November.”
