Dr. Caraveo is a leader on anti-corruption and voting rights issues. From passing historic legislation in the Colorado legislature to force drug companies to lower the cost of prescription drugs, to rejecting money from oil and gas companies, to ensuring that all Coloradans have the freedom to vote, Dr. Caraveo has shown over and over again that she is on the side of the people of Colorado, working to ensure they can make their voices heard on the issues that matter most to them.

“Dr. Caraveo is a champion for Colorado families. She’s fought for every Coloradan to have the freedom to vote, while pushing back against big money special interests. She’s always put the people she represents first, passing legislation to put more money in the pockets of hard-working Coloradans, not in the pockets of big pharma,” said End Citizens United // Let America Vote President Tiffany Muller. “We’ve seen how hard Yadira Caraveo works on behalf of the people of Colorado in the state House, and we need that leadership and courage in Congress. We’re excited to endorse her and look forward to helping her get elected this November.”

“I’m honored to have the endorsement of End Citizens United and Let America Vote because I’m committed to restoring Coloradans’ faith in our democratic systems,” said Dr. Yadira Caraveo, candidate for Congress in Colorado’s 8th Congressional District. “In the state legislature, I’ve expanded multi-lingual ballot access. I won’t be taking a dime of corporate PAC money throughout my campaign for Congress — so that working families across the 8th Congressional District know that I’m listening to them in Washington, not special interests or the powerful few.”
