End Citizens United // Let America Vote today endorsed Representative Jimmy Gomez for Congress in California’s 34th Congressional District. As part of the endorsement, Gomez unveiled a comprehensive reform agenda aimed at getting Big Money out of politics, strengthening ethics rules, and protecting the freedom to vote.
“Representative Jimmy Gomez is a proven champion of democracy, fighting to fix our broken system while standing up for working families in California,” said Tiffany Muller, President of End Citizens United // Let America Vote. “Representative Gomez believes that democracy can only be truly representative when all voices are heard in our government—not just the wealthy elite. It’s why he is refusing to take a penny from corporate PACs and making democracy reform a cornerstone of his campaign. We’re proud to endorse Representative Gomez and look forward to helping him win.”
“At a time of deep mistrust in our democratic institutions, we have to increase transparency and accountability, and raise the standard for candidates and elected officials— that’s why I am pledging to not take any money from corporate PACs for my campaign,” said Representative Jimmy Gomez. “I’m proud to be endorsed by End Citizens United // Let America Vote, who are leaders in protecting our freedom to vote and strengthening our democracy. I look forward to working alongside them to root out corruption and strengthen the trust that voters expect and deserve from those in elected office.”
