End Citizens United // Let America Vote today endorsed a new slate of anti-corruption and voting rights champions in California. The candidates include two non-incumbents, Phil Arballo (CA-13) and Kermit Jones (CA-03), and two incumbents, Congressman Raul Ruiz (CA-25) and Congressmember Judy Chu (CA-28).
“These candidates are exactly what the people of California need in Congress to fight back against corporate special interests trying to stack the deck in their own favor. As California families struggle with rising costs–from gas prices to healthcare–these candidates will go to Washington to fight for the interests of the hardworking families in their district and to make sure their concerns are heard in Congress,” said End Citizens United // Let America Vote President Tiffany Muller. “We’re thrilled to endorse all of these candidates and look forward to helping them win.”
ECU // LAV is a leading anti-corruption and voting rights group. The grassroots-funded political action committee raised and spent $65.5 million in the 2020 election cycle to elect candidates fighting to limit the influence of big money in politics and protect the freedom to vote. ECU // LAV has more than four million members nationwide.
